Having a tidy up of our Exchange 2010 and am trying to get rid of some of the unnecessary public folders. Everything is good other than "Events Root" which will not go, EMC won't delete it, EMS won't delete it, MFCMapi won't delete it. I have a feeling you can't delete the events root just like you cant delete the internet newsgroup public folder. It's just cosmetic I wouldn't worry about deleting it.
